God Glorifying,
No-Nonsense Christianity.

Hi, my name is Jim Fortunato.

I'm not sure how you found my website. Maybe you know me as the jiu-jitsu guy, maybe a friend told you about it or maybe you just stumbled upon it while surfing the web.

However you got here, I'd like to first say: thanks a bunch for dropping by! I trust you'll find the information to be of value to you.

I've been very blessed to have accomplished a lot of things in my life. I've dedicated just about my entire life to martial arts. I'm a former competitor and champion in both karate and brazilian jiu-jitsu. I owned and operated a professional martial arts academy: Fortunato Karate & Jiu-Jitsu from 1996-2012. I've trained hundreds of students, both children and adults alike, in what it takes to become a champion both on and off the mat. I've done this essentially with keying in on 3-main character traits: discipline, hard-work and mental toughness. I'm the founder and owner of The Good Fight Tournament, which is currently the largest submission-only jiu-jitsu tournament circuit in the United States.

The above is a short list of WHAT I've accomplished. But this is not truly WHO I am. First and foremost I'm a born-again Christian. I've trusted Jesus Christ as my Savior. It's because of Christ that I'm able to do anything. Without Him and His redemptive work in my life I'd be nothing.

My ultimate mission in life is to spread the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to this lost and dying world. I'm completely convinced that Jesus Christ is THE solution for mankind's problems. I'm a graduate of the Deland School of the Bible. Currently, the Lord has me serving Him in Cookeville, TN as the full-time itinerant preacher of Calvary Baptist Church.

With all of the above in mind, I am uniquely qualified to help you in your Christian walk and help you become all the Lord Jesus Christ would have you to be.

3 Ways for You to Grow in the Lord

Improve your Christian walk and grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. Here's how to get started:

I met Jimmy 22 years ago when he was getting started in business. As my client, he has demonstrated the discipline needed to save money. Because of his willingness to apply basic biblical principles of money God has blessed him with a debt free company. From a leadership standpoint, I've watched him stay in control in the midst of high stress situations. Similarly, he does seem to be gifted by God to help people work through similar situations.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Jim for over a decade.  In that time frame, not only have I seen him expand in his personal and professional life, but he has helped me grow in both of those arenas as well.  An approachable and trustworthy individual that has always been creditable and dependable.  He has proven to be a wealth of knowledge in numerous and diverse platforms. A man true to his word and steadfast in his beliefs.
